In 2005, SNCF unveiled a new logo designed by "Carré Noir (Essentiel design)", the shape of the new logo expresses "the determination and the movement" and recalls the shape of the nose of the TGV Duplex, color, "the connivance and change", for the typography chosen, it expresses "The relationship and flow." This has also inspired the logo of the TGV. In 2011, SNCF unveiled a simplified version of their logo with rounded corners and reflections on which shadows were deleted in order to gain clarity. This change also made by the agency "Carré Noir (Essentiel design)", accompanied by the graphic treatment of the company.

SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer français)

The SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer français; "National Corporation of French Railways"), is France's national state-owned railway company. SNCF operates the country's national rail services, including the TGV, France's high-speed rail network. Its functions include operation of rail services for passengers and freight, and maintenance and signaling of rail infrastructure owned by Réseau Ferré de France (RFF).
